Southmoor has adopted i-Ready as its primary progress monitoring and assessment program. i-Ready is a common core aligned online program tool that we will used for both assessment and instruction. It uses a criterion-referenced program to assess student learning in reading and mathematics, and it also creates individualized lessons and objectives for student-users. Students will use the i-Ready program throughout the year for assessment and supplemental instruction. They will have i-Ready available as an option in the classroom throughout the year, and they will also be able to access interactive lessons from home for homework. As the year progresses and we have more data available, families will be provided with i-Ready assessment scores and diagnostic reports. To learn more about the i-Ready program, visit the website: www.curriculumassociates.com.
iReady login information:The username is your child's student number (this is also their lunch number) and the password is their birthday MMDDYYYY. Please keep the information in a safe place so that you can help your child log in to the iReady software. Students should eventually be able to log in on their own, but they will need assistance now. Students can access their i-Ready accounts at: clever.com/in/dpsk12 Again, Each student's Username is his or her Student ID.Each student's Password is his or her eight-digit date of birth, entered in the following format: MMDDYYYY. Once logged in, students have the option to choose reading or math.Once a content area is selected, students should select the one, large button that reads "Begin Lesson."i-Ready's software continuously and automatically updates lessons to meet students' needs, and it assesses students' learning as they move through content. At home, thus, students' use of i-Ready should be a hands-off process in relation to parent involvement.
